Now in its 6th year, Goan Interactions celebrates Goa's unique Konkani and Portuguese musical heritage — an evening of song, traditional mandos, Portuguese fado-adjacent numbers, and Indian classical improvisation reflecting Goa's history as a meeting point of India and Portugal. Brought to you by Melville Rodrigues and Baluji Music Foundation

ABOUT GOAN INTERACTIONS
Devised by Linda Shanson and Baluji Shrivastav OBE of the Baluji Music Foundation, Goan Interactions was created to give a platform to Goan music that remains largely unexplored in the West. The first concert in 2021 was programmed by soprano Patricia Rozario and pianist Mark Troop; Oscar Castellino, who performed in the early editions, took over programming in 2025, with Mark Troop returning in 2026 to co-programme and arrange.
